Do you want to walk the red carpet and help find a cure for cancer? Then join Relay for Life of Stoneham 2017. This year’s Relay theme is everything Hollywood. Come walk the red carpet and Hollywood Walk of Fame while raising money to put an end to cancer. Relay for Life is the American Cancer Society’s largest event and the biggest fundraising event in the world. This movement unites communities across the globe, including the Stoneham community, to save lives and celebrate life. Once you experience Relay for Life, you will never forget it. You will make lifelong friends and be forever motivated to make a difference in this universal cause – to put an end to the pain and suffering of cancer.
New fundraising event this year: Relay for Life of Stoneham is excited to announce the first Stoneham Fire Truck Pull taking place on May 7, 2017 at Stoneham High School starting at 10:30 AM (registration begins at 10AM). To put it simply, it is a competition between you and a 68,000 pound fire truck! Thanks to the Town of Stoneham and Stoneham Fire Department we are excited to bring this unique challenge to our town.
Teams will compete against the fire truck and time to see which team can pull the firetruck 50 feet in the quickest time and win bragging rights for the entire year! Each team will have two chances to pull the truck and a team can have up to 12 participants and the registration fee is $20 per participant. Space is limited so sign up now!
