Stoneham Student Wins Third Place in MWRA Poster Contest
Boston Chief of Environment, Energy and Open Space Austin Blackmon attended the ceremony
The Massachusetts Water Resources Authority is pleased to announce that Clara DuPlessie, a homeschool kindergarten student in Stoneham, won Third Place in MWRA’s Annual Poster Contest. This year, students across the MWRA service area were challenged to create posters about how MWRA workers do their jobs in all kinds of weather. An awards ceremony was held on Friday, May 26 at the Deer Island Treatment Plant. City of Boston Chief of Environment, Energy and Open Space and MWRA Board Member Austin Blackmon attended the ceremony and congratulated the winners.
