April 14 event raises awareness for autism and other disabilities.

A release from StonehamBank:
StonehamBank team members participated in NuPath’s “Walk the Walk” on April 14. The event raised money to benefit adults with autism and other developmental disabilities.
NuPath is a non-profit human services agency that helps people with disabilities live fulfilling lives within their communities. This includes day services, employment opportunities, residential services, transportation and more. This year’s walk was the 8th annual walk, but the first time StonehamBank has participated.

“To see all these people come together that morning to support such a great cause – it really shows a commitment to the kind of work NuPath is doing in the community,” Says Mike Rossetti, Vice President of Cash Management at StonehamBank, “For us at the Bank, that serves to reinforce how important it is to continue giving back to the community.”
The mile-long walk began and ended at the NuPath headquarters in Woburn. There was also live music, a barbeque, games and awards for the top fundraisers. Thirteen employees volunteered to participate in the walk. StonehamBank donated $2,000 to the cause, and NuPath raised over $230,000 from the event.
