Stoneham's Rose DeMasi Passes Away at 93

She was dedicated teacher in Medford Public School system.

Rose E. (Clemente) DeMasi of Stoneham passed away on Wednesday, March 15, at Genesis at Wakefield Center in Wakefield. She was 93 years of age.

Born on July 9, 1923 in Boston, Rose was the loving daughter of the late Filippo Clemente and Paula (Catalano) Clemente. Rose was a warm and caring daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be deeply missed.

Rose was a dedicated teacher for the Medford Public School System for many years. Her true love was for her family. They were first and foremost in her life.

Rose was the beloved wife of the late Pasquale G. DeMasi. She was the devoted mother of Anthony DeMasi, Paula DeMasi and Richard DeMasi. The cherished grandmother of Audra, Robin and Tracy-Lee, Rose was also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with the Family on Monday, March 20th from 8:30-9:30am in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St., Stoneham. A Funeral Mass Celebrating Rose's Eternal Life will be held on Monday, March 20, at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham. Entombment St. Michael's Cemetery, Roslindale.
