In support of Caroline Colarusso

I am writing in response to an extremely inaccurate editorial regarding Selectwoman Caroline Colarusso. I will begin by saying that if the person who wrote the piece truly believes in what he is stating, he should be strong enough to use his real name on the article and not the fictitious "John Dough". His choice in using a fake name, in my opinion, gives zero credibility to his letter to the editor. ZERO CREDIBILITY.

I grew up with Caroline and will say that I know no one with as much integrity and drive as she.

"John Dough's" editorial states that Caroline's behaviour is "absurd, infantile and self-serving" and that she has accomplished absolutely nothing except chaos and disruption as Selectwoman. Mr. "Dough" you really need to backup such an "absurd, infantile and self-serving" statement. Anyone who knows Caroline knows that this is THE most ridiculous, false statement. Caroline is the least self-serving person I know. She gives of herself endlessly and without reservation. Her track record is a small indication of such.

Mr. "Dough" also states that the "voters are watching and paying attention". I sure hope they are. If so, they will know, for a fact, that Caroline works endlessly for the people of Stoneham.

To list just a few of her accomplishments, I will mention that as everyone knows, Caroline has had water and sewer rates lowered for the town two years in a row. She has also had trash fees reduced.

Ms. Colarusso has held forums to help inform and educate residents on various health issues including Alzheimers Disease, a cause very near and dear to her heart.

Caroline has been instrumental in having sidewalks installed where there were none, just for the safety of her fellow townspeople. She was also the catalyst for having a public transportation bus stop at the Stone Zoo; a move that has brought revenue to the town and makes the zoo accessible to people who otherwise had no way to enjoy it.

Caroline also holds weekly office hours so that the people of Stoneham have a place to air their grievances and concerns.

Caroline listens and acts. She is a go-getter who does her best to provide the people with what they need and is very successful at it.

Caroline Colarusso is a strong, independent, intelligent woman with an amazing amount of integrity. She is a shining star in the swamp of politics. She truly cares about not only her fellow townsmen, but for ALL people.

I truly hope and pray that Caroline IS elected State Representative. She is a person who can truly make a positive impact.

Mr. "Dough", too bad you don't have 1/4 the integrity Caroline has and don't believe enough in what you have to say to sign your real name. That may have added just an iota of credibility to your ridiculous article.

I truly hope the voters ARE watching and listening.
