In Support of Stoneham Selectwoman Caroline Colarusso

Regarding Your support for Mrs. Colarusso - I have no problem with her personality and acts of kindness. I am not talking about lost puppies and what strings she can pull for certain individuals. I am talking about the job of Selectman and these things you mentioned (albeit very sweet) are not part of the job. I am also talking about behavior and professionalism during BOS meetings and what I have observed. I voted for Caroline however she seems to be using her position as selectman as a stepping stone for the republican party and the State Representative race - she is very assertive and does work hard however she has become a liability for the board because she is not happy about having a minority vote (along with Tom Boussy). If we are to get things done in our town our board members must work together and stop the petty bickering and separate their personal feelings. It is a waste of time and for those of us who watch and/or attend the BOS meetings it has become a long, drawn out nightmare. I did not personally attack Mrs. Colarusso or Mr. Boussy, just showed my frustration and disappointment with these unprofessional antics. Ego’s often get in the way when a group is trying to come to a consensus and we must hold our elected officials to higher standard to learn compromise. Whether they agree or not (they do vote) they can place there yeah or nay and it is on record. Listen I like Tom or Caroline personally, in fact they can be quite pleasant when off the job. I also like Mickey Mouse but wouldn’t vote for him. I like people who get the job done, without the theatrics. Was I misinformed that Caroline puller papers for State Representative?
