STOUGHTON, MA — A Stoughton man was indicted after prosecutors said he robbed a Canton CVS by threatening pharmacists by saying he had an AIDS-filled syringe. Ralph Milford, 25, was charged with armed robbery, three counts of larceny of a drug and resisting arrest.
Just before 1 p.m. Oct. 21, police told WHDH received a call from a pharmacy employee at the Washington Street store. According to police, Milford passed a note to pharmacists saying he was armed with the syringe and would inject them with the virus if they didn't hand over pills and other narcotics.
Police said they later found Milford in a nearby parking, and he tried running away. Officers caught up to him at a nearby gas station, used a stun gun to subue him and placed him under arrest, the Patriot Ledger reported. Police said they never found a syringe or the note Milford is accused of passing.
