"While we do not want to trample your Pokemon spirit, we do ask that you respect people's property. While out on the hunt for the ever elusive whackazoid or sneezachu please remember this can not be done while you're behind the wheel of a vehicle. If you decide to head out on a Pokemon prowl please do so on foot and keep off of private property," police wrote on Facebook.

In the tongue-in-cheek portion of the message, police say that all Pokemon have been asked to stay off of private property. A pidgey has been arrested and was ordered held on 25 gold coins during his arraignment, police said.
