Continue Mosquito Protection Measures
Sudbury Health Department reminds residents to continuing protecting themselves against West Nile and EEE viruses until a deep hard frost.
From the Town of Sudbury: Based on the confirmed case of West Nile Virus in Middlesex County, the Sudbury Health Department continues to remind residents to remain diligent in protecting themselves against West Nile and EEE viruses until deep hard frosts occur.
Mosquito pools from Sudbury and other Middlesex County towns were recently submitted for testing. These pools included the species of concern for EEE. Results indicated declining mosquito populations and all tested negative for Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE).
