Divorce Matters workshop offers help & info in Westford

Workshop to help men and women thinking about or in divorce. Professionals will discuss financial, emotional, legal and family issues

The “Divorce Matters — Next Step” workshops return to the area April 8 to help people untie the knot of legal, financial, family and personal issues often encountered during divorce.

The information-packed workshop is geared to help people considering, approaching or in the midst of divorce set expectations and make wise decisions. The Saturday workshop will be presented from 9 a.m. - noon at the Westford Regency Inn & Conference Center, 219 Littleton Road.

Trained professionals will share knowledge and information to empower participants through the divorce process with confidence and peace of mind.

The workshop is offered through The Divorce Center, a 33-year-old nonprofit educational organization, and has helped hundreds of people become better prepared. Cost is $30.

The Divorce Center is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit Massachusetts organization of people experiencing divorce and its effects, along with professionals who enhance knowledge of the divorce process and its effects, to lessen fear and attain the best possible outcomes.
