French Movie Night at LSRHS!

Come watch the award winning film "Fanny's Journey" on May 11, 2018 at 7:00 pm in the Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School Auditorium!

Come join the 2018 French Cinema classes for the 5th Annual French Movie Night held
at the Lincoln-Sudbury High School Auditorium, May 11 at 7:00 pm! It is entirely organized by
students enrolled in the French Cinema classes at LS. Admission is free, but outside the
auditorium we will be accepting donations for the Save the Children charity. Winner of 23
audience awards, this year’s movie is called “Fanny’s Journey”. It is a riveting true story of a
young Jewish girl leading a group of fellow Jewish children through Nazi territory to freedom in
Switzerland. This movie is directed by Lola Doillon and stars Léonie Souchaud, Ryan Brodie,
Juliane Lepoureau, and Cécile de France. This movie is rated PG, will be held with english
subtitles, and lasts 94 minutes. Peter Keough of the Boston Globe says, “at a time when many
disparage and reject refugees from war and oppression, "Fanny's Journey" is a reminder of the
virtues of decency, compassion, and innocence”. We would also like to thank the Early
Language School of Sudbury, a bilingual French preschool in Sudbury and the EFGBC
(Education Francaise Greater Boston), a non-profit organization that provides educational
options for children.
