The Presidential Election is scheduled for Tuesday, November 3, 2020. On the back of the ballot are two Sudbury debt exclusion questions which refer to Articles 17 and 18 of the Sept 12, 2020 Annual Town Meeting.

Polls are open from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM

The ballot will contain all the candidates up for election, two state wide ballot questions and two Local Sudbury debt exclusion questions. Please check both sides of the ballot to make sure you are not missing any questions.

Vote By Mail
If you have already filled out an absentee application for all elections you do not need to fill out another one. Ballots will be mailed out the second week in October.
Absentee Voting is available for those who qualify. Learn more here: Vote By Mail Information. The deadline to apply for a vote by mail ballot for this election is by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 28, 2020.
Early Voting by mail is available for all registered voters. The State has mailed out Early Voting Applications to all registered voters.
1. APPLY TO VOTE BY MAIL
The deadline to apply for an early voting ballot for this election is by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 28, 2020. Applications should be filed with the Town Clerk’s office as soon as possible as it may take 5 to 8 days to receive your ballot. Ballots are expected to be mailed out on the second week of October.
2. COMPLETE & RETURN YOUR BALLOT
When you receive your Vote by Mail packet, complete your vote by:
- Fill out the ballot
- Place ballot in yellow envelope, SIGN YOUR NAME and seal the envelope
- Pace sealed, yellow envelope into white envelope and seal
- Return your ballot:
- Return by MAIL or
- Drop off at a Sudbury BALLOT DROP BOX
- Town Clerk’s Office- 322 Concord Road: Lock box located inside the rear vestibule. Open 24/7.
- Goodnow Library- 21 Concord Road: Drive-thru ballot drop off. This drop box will be closed on election day.
Ballots must be returned to the Town Clerk’s office by 8 pm on November 3, 2020 or be postmarked by November 3, 2020 and received by November 6, 2020 to be counted.

In Person Early Voting
Early Voting in person is available to all registered voters who prefer to cast their ballot prior to election day. Facial coverings are required and social distancing must be observed.
