Interactive Coronavirus Map: Cases, Cancellations Near Sudbury

SUDBURY, MA — Updates about the new coronavirus outbreak in Massachusetts are coming fast.
On Wednesday, multiple local colleges announced campuses would close and classes moved online. Wayland, Framingham, and Marlborough all announced presumptive positive COVID-19 cases, and the statewide total rose to 95 — with six of those confirmed.
Also, the Sudbury School District has stepped up prevention efforts. In a letter to parents Tuesday, Superintendent Brad Crozier said that school buses will be cleaned more, and the school's food service provider has started new training for employees.

The district is not considering remote learning because the state Department of Elementary and Secondary Education has said those won't count toward the state's minimum 180 instructional days.
