Fire In Sudbury At Cavicchio Greenhouses Requires Hazmat Response
The 3-alarm fire along Codjer Lane broke out near 3 p.m. Wednesday, sending a big plume of smoke into the sky over Sudbury.

SUDBURY, MA — A 3-alarm fire damaged a building at the Cavicchio Greenhouses complex in Sudbury Wednesday afternoon, and required a hazmat team to help clean up, according to officials.
The fire broke out near 3 p.m. along Codjer Lane and sent a large plume of smoke into the sky over Sudbury. Firefighters warned residents to keep their windows closed due to the smoke.
The fire department said the greenhouse that caught fire contained fertilizer, and so a regional hazmat team was called as firefighters worked to contain the blaze.
