MA Election 2020: How To Vote By Mail In Sudbury

SUDBURY, MA —The Massachusetts state primary is coming up on Sept. 1, but voters will have more voting options this year. Chiefly, that anyone in the state can cast an absentee ballot via mail.

Most local voters should have already received an application to receive a mail-in ballot. But if you haven't, you can visit the Secretary of State's website to download and application, which must be requested four days before the election.

The Sudbury Town Clerk has a comprehensive guide on how to mail your ballot — or deliver it to the clerk's office, allowing you to avoid the U.S. Postal service.

You can check your voting status on the Secretary of State's website, and find your polling place. If you missed the deadline to register to vote, you can still register for future elections. The last day to register to vote for the Sept. 1 primary is Saturday Aug. 22.
