New Mobile Pet Spa to Serve Sudbury and other Metro-west Towns

A Mobile Pet Spa grooming service has been introduced in the region by Canine Company, the at-home pet care services provider, to bring convenience to pet parents in Middlesex and Norfolk counties. The service is based in Ashland.

The pet spa is equipped to handle all grooming needs right in the client’s driveway. Standard service includes a deep-cleansing shampoo and conditioning treatment, followed by a fluff hand drying, brush-out, pedicure and ear cleaning.

Canine Company added the service in response to growing consumer demand for at-home pet care, said Canine Company CEO Jennifer Hill. “Consumers want the convenience of at-home services. It’s time consuming driving pets back and forth to the grooming salon and it’s stressful for the pet,” she said. “We introduced mobile grooming in part of Connecticut and New York in 2015 and, since then, we’ve been hearing from our pet containment and dog obedience training clients here in the metro-west area that they’d like us to add a Mobile Pet Spa here as well.”

The service was tested with existing Canine Company clients in November and December for holiday grooming. Communities being served so far include Sudbury, Concord, Dover, Lincoln, Sherborn, Wayland, Wellesley and Weston. Other towns will be added as demand increases.
