Newton Police: Naked Man Masturbates at Basketball Court; Theft at Panera; Stolen Bike
The following are excerpts from the Newton police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Saturday, June 27
- Police responded to the area of Tyler Terrace for a report of indecent exposure. When police got there, they were met by two who reported that they turned onto Tyler Terrace from Centre Street and saw a light skinned male, approximately 6’1”, about 40, clean shaven, with short, dark hair, standing naked and masturbating next to the fence overlooking the basketball courts. When the unknown male saw the residents, he got into his new model, black four door SUV and left toward Centre Street. Multiple units canvassed the area with negative results.
- Panera Bread reported to police that there had been a larceny. A person came into Panera and purchased food around 1:45 p.m. and at 1:58 p.m., they received an email from Bank of America for attempted purchase. She realized her wallet was missing and must have been stolen at Panera.
Sunday, June 28
- Police responded to Thurston Road for a report of a stolen bicycle. A woman stated that sometime after 3 p.m., her black 24-speed Marin bicycle was stolen from her driveway. She said that her bike was locked with another one with a combination cable lock attached to the metal loop. She said that she went outside and the cable was cut and the Marin bicycle was taken and the other bike was still there. She did not have a specific model name.
