- Police responded to 325 Boylston St. (Sunoco Gas) for a report of an armed robbery that had just occurred. Dispatch advised that two black males wearing face masks were armed with knives and had just robbed the store and fled in an unknown direction. An employee said that he was behind the counter when two black males wearing masks entered the store. They pointed knives at him. They are described as slim, one taller than the other. The suspects came to the right side of the counter, and one entered the manger’s office in the back while the other crouched down at the counter and demanded the money. One came out of the manager’s office and demanded that he open the locked safe. The employee explained that he didn’t have the combination. The suspect who was crouched down removed money from the cash drawer. The suspect then took the knife and held it to the back of his left leg and threatened to kill the employee and to “not f&^$ around.” The suspect then grabbed multiple lottery tickets and both suspects fled the store, possibly in the direction of John Street. Troopers arrived on the scene with K9s and searched. The K9 lost track on John Street directly behind the building and believes that it is where a vehicle was waiting for the suspects to get away.
