Packed Weekend of Events for 15th Annual Riverfest
Paddle, fish, tour, walk, and learn about the rivers that thread through these communities.

SUDBURY, MA—The 15th Annual RiverFest arrives on the Sudbury, Concord and Assabet Rivers June 18 and 19, with a plethora of events, activities and talks in communities that sit on the rivers, including Wayland, Sudbury, Lincoln, Concord, Billerica, Carlisle and Lowell.
Events will take place throughout the weekend, some keeping participants on the banks and others inviting guests to paddle out on the Wild & Scenic Rivers.
Starting in Wayland, Brian Donahue, Brandeis University history professor and expert on the history of the Sudbury River, leads a three-hour paddle to Sherman's Bridge (Sherman's Bridge Road) through the wide meadows that prompted the founding of Wayland and Sudbury. It has frequent stops to hear stories of a fascinating and sometimes lurid past.
