• Fire Academy Teaches Rescue Skills that Previously Required Out-of-State Class (town.news) — Sudbury firefighters are among those sharpening life-saving skills through the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy's Structural Collapse Rescue Technician course, which now runs in-state instead of requiring out-of-state travel. The intensive eight-day training in Bridgewater teaches advanced techniques for rescuing people from collapsed buildings and other major incidents, strengthening emergency response capabilities that could directly benefit Sudbury residents.
