Vote By Mail

New Rules have been promulgated, so please read carefully. If you have already filled out an absentee application for all elections you do not need to fill out another one.

Absentee Voting is available for those who qualify. Learn more here: Vote By Mail Information. The deadline to apply for a vote by mail ballot for this election is by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 28, 2020.

Early Voting by mail is available for all registered voters. The State has mailed out applications to registered voters. If you have not received an application, they are available on the Town website.

1. APPLY TO VOTE BY MAIL

The deadline to apply for an early voting ballot for this election is by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 26, 2020. Applications should be filed with the Town Clerk’s office as soon as possible as it may take 5 to 8 days to receive your ballot.

2. COMPLETE & RETURN YOUR BALLOT

When you receive your Vote by Mail packet, complete your vote by:

  1. Fill out the ballot
  2. Place ballot in yellow envelope, SIGN YOUR NAME and seal the envelope
  3. Pace sealed, yellow envelope into white envelope and seal
  4. Return your ballot:
    • Return by mail or
    • Drop off in the lock box located in the vestibule at the Town Clerk’s office, 322 Concord Road
    • *NEW* BALLOT DROP BOX- Goodnow Library- 21 Concord Rd. Please note: Ballots must be returned directly to the Town Clerks office by 8 pm on election day. This ballot box will be closed on election day (September 1).

Ballots must be returned to the Town Clerk’s office by 8 pm on September 1, 2020 to be counted.

NOTICE OF ADVANCE REMOVAL OF BALLOTS FOR STATE PRIMARY SEPTEMBER 1, 2020

Pursuant to Election Advisory #20-02, early voting ballots can be advance processed. Please see Advance Ballot Process Notice for details.

In Person Early Voting

Early Voting in person is available to all registered voters who prefer to cast their ballot prior to election day. Facial coverings will be required and social distancing observed.

    Saturday, October 17, through Friday, October 30, 2020
  • HOURS:
    M, W, Th) 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
    Tu) 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM
    F) 9:00 AM -12:00 PM
    Sat and Sun. 10 AM – 2 PM
  • LOCATION:
    Lower Town Hall, 322 Concord Road.
