Shrewsbury Police: Man Charged With Third Drunk Driving Offense; Man Allegedly Steals Dirt Bike, Rides it Around School

Sunday, April 19
- At 5:02 p.m., police responded to a call about a person riding a dirt bike on the property of the Coolidge Elementary School on Florence Street. Police called environmental police and confirmed that the dirt bike was stolen. Kelvin Rivera, 32, 23 Vernon St., Apt. 2, Worcester, was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property (motor vehicle) and driving with a suspended license
Monday, April 20
- At 5:26 p.m., police responded to a call about a broken down wheelchair at 93 South Quinsigamond
- At 6:52 p.m., police received a call from Marlborough police about an 86-year-old female who claimed she was lost at a CVS

- At 9:33 a.m., police took a report of jewelry that was reportedly stolen from 36 North Quinsigamond, Apt. 101
- At 7:43 p.m., police spoke with a male who said he is having issues with his 30-year-old daughter who has mental issues. Police visited the location after the man said he feels for the safety of his family
Wednesday, April 22
- At 11:05 p.m., police responded to Boston Turnpike to speak with a person about being harassed by an older male.

- At 8:55 a.m., a resident filed a missing person report on her daughter, 34 Yorkshire Terrace.
- At 11:11 p.m., a person called to tell police that his friend said he was seeing things and afraid someone was going to hurt him. The friend was transported to UMass
Friday, April 24
- At 10:43 p.m., police pulled a car over on Hartford Turnpike. James Catanzaro, 59, 16 Edgemont Road, Shrewsbury, was arrested and charged with OUI (third offense), obstructing an emergency vehicle, marked lanes violation, negligent operation of MV, speeding
