Sonshine Weekend Brings Bright Service, Concert and Dinner, To Westborough Church

The Westborough United Methodist Church is holding its annual Sonshine Sunday, and dinner and concert, this weekend.

WESTBOROUGH, MA — We've all got a Hawaiian tucked away in our closets, don't way? Time to use it.

The First United Methodist Church is holding sits annual Sonshine Sunday on Sunday, Jan. 29, at the 9 a..m. and 10:30 a.m. services, when all are welcome to come to the church wearing a Hawaiian shirt, or brightly colored clothing. The service includes special musical guest Dan Meredith.

The night before, Jan. 28, there is a dinner at 6 p.m. and a concert by Meredith from 7-8 p.m. The dinner includes Hawaiian chicken chili, mac and cheese, hot dogs and more.

A free will offering will be taken to benefit our Appalachia Service Project Youth mission this summer to Kentucky.
