Sudbury 2020 Election: See Preliminary Results

Sudbury voted on June 23, and a new member of the Board of Selectmen may be in the making, according to the unofficial results.

SUDBURY, MA — The Sudbury Town Clerk released the preliminary vote count from the spring 2020 election on Tuesday night.

The Sudbury Board of Selectmen race was the only competitive contest in this election, and the early results showed that incumbent Pat Brown was trailing challenger Charles Russo. About 2,304 Sudbury voters cast a ballot on Tuesday, which means turnout was just over 17 percent.

Susan Sama — 1,681 votes

John Hincks — 1,640 votes

SUDBURY SCHOOL COMMITTEE
Margaret Yi Helon — 1,620 votes

LINCOLN-SUDBURY REGIONAL DISTRICT SCHOOL COMMITTEE
Harold Engstrom — 1,491 votes
Candace Marie Miller — 1,645 votes
