Sudbury Coronavirus Updates: Town Extends Tax Deadline

Sudbury residents will get a few extra months to pay property and personal property taxes.

SUDBURY, MA — Sudbury has extended the tax payment deadline to June 1 due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak, a move many other towns have made to ease the financial burden on local residents.

The extension covers property and personal property taxes due in the fourth quarter. Because Sudbury Town Hall is closed, residents cannot pay taxes in cash. There is a drop box outside the building that you can drive up to and drop payments in. You can also mail tax payments, or make them online.

As of the town's last update on April 1, Sudbury had 10 confirmed coronavirus cases, six presumed cases, and 50 people who heave either recovered or been released from quarantine.
