Sudbury To Elect Delegates to State Democratic Convention

Caucus To Be Held On Saturday Feb. 3, 2018

SUDBURY TO ELECT DELEGATES TO DEMOCRATIC STATE CONVENTION

Registered Democrats in Sudbury will hold a Caucus on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the Sudbury Grange Hall, 326 Concord Road, Sudbury to elect delegates and alternates to the 2018 Massachusetts Democratic State Convention. Doors will open for registration at 9:30 a.m. and the formal business of the Caucus will begin at 10:00 a.m. Registration will close promptly at 10:15 a.m. The Sudbury Grange Hall is fully accessible for people with disabilities.

This year’s State Convention will be held June 1-2 at the DCU Center in Worcester, where Democratic delegates from across the state will come together to endorse Democratic candidates for statewide office, including Constitutional Officers and gubernatorial candidates.

The Caucus is open to all registered Democrats, including pre-registered Democrats, residing in Sudbury. Pre-registered Democrats who will be 18 by September 4, 2018 will be allowed to participate in the Caucus and run as a delegate or alternate. Sudbury can elect 11 delegates and 4 alternates to the Convention.

Youth, minorities, people with disabilities and LBGT individuals who are not elected as a delegate may apply to be an add-on delegate at the Caucus or at www.massdems.org.
