The housing trust aims to increase affordable and community housing.
SUDBURY, MA — Sudbury is looking for residents who want a foot in the door in local government to apply to the town's Housing Trust. The Trust is composed of up to nine trustees appointed for three-year terms. In making the appointments, the Board of Selectmen will appoint people from a range of backgrounds including legal, banking, financial, and real estate professionals; non-profit and for-profit housing developers; affordable housing advocates; and other members of the local business community.
Trustees are expected to prepare for and attend monthly meetings, and to actively participate. The trust is supported through technical and administrative staff from the Planning and Community Development Department.
