Sudbury July 4th Race Results

Results from annual town event

The Sudbury July Fourth Road Race was held again this year, its 54th annual running. Congratulation to all of the participants, as this was one of the hottest race days in memory! The first male finisher was Max Lustig with a time of 20:58; the first female finisher was Sandra Iberg at 25:39. For the kid’s race, first female finisher was Maddie Lutz (10:54) and first male was Ryan Cope (10:06).

Full race results are available at coolrunning.com.

The race was run this year in honor of the late Bob Hall, whose organizational bent and dedication helped to keep the race going for the past 20 some years. A tribute to Bob was made prior to the start of the adult’s run. His always affable presence was sorely missed by the race committee as well as the many returning runners.

The race and all its amenities would not be possible without the very generous support of our sponsors: Middlesex Savings Bank, Graphic Connections, Sudbury Farms, Bullfinchs Restaurant, Conrad’s Restaurant, and Brine Sporting Goods. The race committee would also like to thank the Town of Sudbury, especially the Police Department, for their ongoing support of the race.
