Sudbury Is Looking For Firefighters and Paramedics
Applicants should have a current Massachusetts EMT certification and a driver's license.
SUDBURY, MA — Sudbury is looking to hire new firefighters and paramedics to join the town's emergency responder team. The town is looking for applicants who have a current Massachusetts EMT certification and a drivers license and who do not smoke. The starting salary is $28.29 to $28.87 per hour.
Applicants that the town like will be interviewed by multiple people and one or more assessments including a background check, a drug test, psychological test and a strength and agility test.
Successful candidates have to remain a non-smoker and comply with any residency requirements as outlined by state law and/or the Town’s collective bargaining agreement.
Successful candidates must attend and successfully complete the full-time recruit program at the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy prior to the conclusion of their probationary period.
