Sudbury Police Station Operating Fully in New Location

Sudbury police made the move to a new facility last week.

To move to its new facility, it required transferring the 911 equipment, radio systems, phone lines, CJIS connections and many other systems. Starting the process on Dec. 7, Sudbury police moved into its new facility at 75 Hudson Road officially by 5 p.m. on Dec. 8.

Wayland police assisted with 911 calls during the move.

“With work still being done, we are unpacking and adjusting, but it is well worth it,” said Chief Scott Nix. “We are extremely grateful for the support of the residents who approved the project and who continue to support us during our move. The facility is much safer, more efficient and sustainable for decades to come.”
