Sudbury Teen Featured in Concord Youth Theatre's Upcoming Performance - An Evening of One-Acts

Concord Youth Theatre's upcoming performance of An Evening of One-Acts will run April 6, 7, 8 at 7:30; April 9 at 2:30.

Sudbury resident Erica Cordischi will be featured in Concord Youth Theatre’s upcoming performance, An Evening of One-Acts. She will perform with a cast of nine other teens in a series of five, one-act plays which will include: The Great Pandemonium, a comedy in one act by Pat Cook, which takes place on a high school auditorium stage. It spotlights a director hovering close to the edge of madness, as he attempts to run a technical rehearsal just before opening night. Next is Medea by Christopher Durang & Wendy Wasserstein, about Medea and her chorus of three women trying to figure out if it’s appropriate to kill your children just to punish your husband. It’s followed by the short comic play Sure Thing, by David Ives, about a chance meeting of two characters, Betty and Bill, whose conversation is continually reset by the use of a ringing bell. Next is English Made Simple by David Ives, a romantic comedy full of twists and turns about a couple named Jack and Jill who meet at a party, and realize that they knew each other romantically before the party. And finally the mystery thriller Sorry, Wrong Number by Lucille Fletcher, a story of a woman whose only contact with the outside world is her phone. Because of a crossed wire, she overhears a murder plot, which turns out to be her own.

Come see these talented high school actors perform an entertaining series of one-acts! Performances are April 6, 7, 8 at 7:30; April 9 at 2:30. Tickets are $15 each and can be purchased online at www.concordyouththeatre.org or by calling the box office at 978-371-1482.
