Whole Foods Market announced on Wednesday that it will open a location in Sudbury.
The store will be approximately 40,000 square feet and employ approximately 225 locally hired, full and part time team members.

“Sudbury is such a quintessentially New England town and we are so excited to develop a store that celebrates the rich history of the area,” says Laura Derba, president of Whole Foods Market’s North Atlantic region, in a statement. “We are eager to get this project underway and to get to know our new neighbors and learn how we can best serve as community partners in Sudbury.”
A spokesperson said that a specific location will be announced in the near future.

Whole Foods Market Sudbury is projected to open in 2017.
