SWAMPSCOTT, MA - With just a few days left in 2015, many look to nonprofits and charities to make a tax deductible donation to before the year’s end. Below is a list of some nonprofit organizations in town. Click on the links for more information.
- Stepping Stones for Stella is dedicated to providing Buggies to children with disabilities so that they and their families can experience the joy and freedom of the great outdoors to its fullest. The Buggies are sturdy, light-weight, all-terrain wheelchairs that can travel on a variety of surfaces including sand, gravel and more.

- Friends of the Swampscott Public Library provides volunteer help, conducts an annual book sale, sponsors programs for adults, purchases all museum passes, funds the library newsletter and underwrites many Young Adult and Children’s Room activities.
Swampscott Education Foundation
- The Swampscott Education Foundation is dedicated to enhancing the educational experience of students of the Swampscott Public Schools by giving financial support for programs that will enrich the curriculum and provide enhancements which are beyond the normal scope of public funding.
