Knights of Columbus Council 70 Receives Top Award

Lynn, MA – Knights of Columbus Valladolid Council 70 which serves parishes in Lynn and Swampscott was awarded the distinction of Star Council, the international organization’s top honor for local councils.

The Star Council Award recognizes overall excellence in the areas of growing membership, promoting Knights of Columbus insurance benefits, sponsoring Catholic faith formation programs and volunteering time through service-oriented activities.

Despite the pandemic our local Knights of Columbus Council has thrived. Some highlights of the year include hosting an overnight Pro-Life prayer Vigil, an online craft fair, a Novena for Life, restarting our Bingo Program to support local charities, assembling bagged meals for My Brother’s Table, and many more programs.
