In the spirit of The “Stretch Award”, Interact Student Community Service Club at Swampscott High School is collecting canned goods and non-perishables for the local Swampscott Food Bank. This non-denominational food bank serves local families and others in need in our community.
The “Stretch Award” pays tribute to the memory of Joe “Stretch” Balliro, a local community pharmacist and volunteer girls’ basketball coach. He represented the best in community giving, fair play, and sportsmanship.
