Swampscott Adds More Free Coronavirus Testing Hours For Residents

Swampscott will extend testing at First Church two hours on Saturday, with students encouraged to get a test before returning to school.

SWAMPSCOTT, MA — Swampscott residents are urged to take advantage of the free, drive-thru coronavirus testing site at First Church, which is now open six days per week for Swampscott residents.

Testing takes place Monday through Friday from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon. Testing will be extended on Saturday by two hours to account for looking for tests following Thanksgiving.

There will no testing this week on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday due to the holiday.

State guidelines limit all indoor gatherings to 10 people and outdoor gatherings to 25 people.
