Swampscott To Host MassHIRE Job Search, Career Help Event
The Career Center on the Go event will be on Tuesday at the Swampscott Public Library.
SWAMPSCOTT, MA — North Shore residents looking for a new job, career change or just some advice on the next steps in their work advancement are invited to the MassHIRE Career Center on the Go Event at the Swampscott Public Library on Tuesday.
Town Administrator Sean Fitzgerald and MassHIRE will host the event that will include career coaching advice, job search assistance, information for youths, veterans services, as well as business engagements.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the library at 61 Burrill Street. Walk-ins are welcome.

Career coaching will make attendees aware of training possibilities on the North Shore for their desired career switch; job search will include a resume review (bring one along) as well as salary expectations and listings; the youth career center will assist those looking for employment between 16 and 24 years old; veterans services will have representatives on hand to discuss veterans-specific programs and benefits; and business engagement specialists will be available to help with referrals and state resources.
