2 People Charged With Dealing Drugs In Tewksbury

Two people are facing charges after police say they witnessed a drug deal between them.

TEWKSBURY, MA — Two people have been charged with drug dealing, according to police.

Police were conducting surveillance in the area of Ames Hill Drive on Jan. 5 at 12:50 p.m.

Investigators saw what appeared to be a drug deal between a man in a vehicle and a woman who lives in the apartments. Police stopped both people.

The woman, who police identified as Angela Lemieux, 27, of Tewksbury, was found in possession of two grams of cocaine in separate baggies and a digital scale.

The man, later identified as Shaheed Williams, 38, of Beverly, was found with cash.

Both were arrested and arraigned Monday in Lowell Superior Court.

Williams was charged with distribution of a class B substance. Lemieux was charged with possession of a class B substance with intent to distribute.
