Actor J.T. Turner will perform his one-man show, "Will's World." How does a glovemaker’s son, with just a few years of formal schooling, become the most famous writer and poet in the world? In this one-man performance, William Shakespeare shares his life story, while providing insight into his greatest works and the world of Theater during the time of Queen Elizabeth. This engaging, interactive show features excerpts from A Midsummer Nights Dream, Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, Henry V, and As You Like It, as well as Shakespeare’s sonnets. Professional actor and Shakespeare expert J.T. Turner brings the Bard to life and makes his timeless works accessible for all. Performance to take place on the library's back lawn. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own blankets or chairs. In case of inclement weather, performance will take place in the library’s first-floor Fairgrieve Wing. In ONE hour you can save history for generations to come! Join us to learn how to save U.S. National Archives' historic documents, photos, and illustrations by typing and tagging! Acting Up with Reader's Theatre (*RR)

For independently reading children ages 8 to 11. Kids will have the most success if they are comfortable reading out loud in front of a crowd. Join us as we create a short one-of-a-kind play based on a book. Attendees MUST BE ABLE TO COME TO BOTH SESSIONS: Wednesday, July 25th and Thursday, the 26th. Both sessions are from 10:30am – 12:00pm. On Wednesday, we will read the book, put together our script, assign parts and rehearse. On Thursday, we will rehearse and hold the performance at 12:15pm.
