7th Annual Zero Waste Day: September 26th

Experience the ease and convenience of local “drive thru donating and recycling” at Tewksbury’s 7th Annual Zero Waste Day event, scheduled for Saturday, September 26th, from 9am-1pm, in the Wynn Middle School parking lot.  (Rain or shine.)

Fourteen organizations will be on hand with vehicles ranging from box trucks to tractor trailers to graciously accept your donations of gently used items or recyclables.  Donation categories include clothing/shoes, home goods, baby gear, furniture, pet supplies, bikes, books and media, and building supplies.  Recycling categories include tires (off-rim), batteries, cell phones, toner and ink jet cartridges, paper, and - for a nominal fee - televisions and electronics.

Hazardous waste will NOT be accepted at ZWD.  Click here for info on how to dispose of hazardous waste.
