Bestselling Author B.A. Shapiro To Discuss Latest Mystery On May 19 at Tewksbury Library
Author B.A. Shapiro to discuss her new book, "The Muralist."
TEWKSBURY, MA – New York Times bestselling author B.A. Shapiro will discuss her latest book, “The Muralist,” on Thursday, May 19, from 7pm to 8pm, at the Tewksbury Public Library.
“The Muralist” is a thrilling new novel of art, history, love, and politics that traces the life and mysterious disappearance of a brilliant young artist on the eve of World War II. The book was named a “Book of the Month” by the American Booksellers Association and received much critical acclaim, including starred reviews in Library Journal and Booklist.
B.A. Shapiro is the bestselling author of “The Muralist,” “The Art Forger”, “The Safe Room,” “Blind Spot,” “See No Evil,” “Blameless,” and “Shattered Echoes.” She has also written four screenplays and the non-fiction book, “The Big Squeeze.” “The Art Forger” won many awards, including The 2013 New England Book Award for Fiction. Shapiro has taught sociology at Tufts University and creative writing at Northeastern University. She lives in Boston with her husband, Dan, and their dog, Sagan.
Adults from Tewksbury and beyond are invited to attend this free hour-long event. A Q&A and book selling and signing – for those interested – will take place after the presentation.
