Eagle on the Merrimac River
Pictures of a bald eagle, on the Merrimac River, Lowell, Ma.
Krystal and I, Krystal’s father, frequently go to the Merrimac River, by the Bellegarde Boathouse in Lowell, Ma. Krystal loves all types of birds and enjoys watching them. Krystal is extremely limited as far as what activities she can participate due to the onset of Juvenile Huntington’s disease since she was 15 years old. So when I think of something that brings a smile to her face, I try to make the most of it. So, on Thursday, 11/3/16, we headed down to the Bellegarde Boathouse to watch the birds. There are mostly pigeons, seagulls, ducks, geese and sparrows. Well on Thursday afternoon, the birds seemed to be on alert, more than usual. All of a sudden, the birds took to the air and scattered in every direction. When I first looked up, I thought I saw one of those remote control airplanes. It turned out to be a bald eagle. I would assume that the bald eagle is not seen very often in this area. I have attached numerous pictures of the eagle. Please pardon the quality of the pictures. I am hardly a photographer.
