Local Priest Presides Nationally Telvised Mass
Father Michael Powell of Saint William Presides last CatholicTV Mass before reassignment to San Antonio

WATERTOWN,Mass (August 6, 2015) - The daily Catholic Mass was celebrated at the Watertown studios of CatholicTV in the Chapel of Holy Cross.
Father Michael Powell , OMI, of Saint William Parish in Tewksbury presided at the Mass in honor of the feast of Transfiguration. Fr. Powell was joined by parishioners of St. William including, Ms. Ashley Demerus of Tewksbury who served at the altar and Mr. Steve Frautten of Tewksbury, who served as lector.

August 6, 2015 marks the last Mass that Fr. Powell will preside at the Chapel of the Holy Cross at CatholicTV. As a Missionary Oblate of Mary Immaculate, Father Powell has been reassigned to San Antonio Texas. He has been a great supporter and help to CatholicTV over the years and everyone at the station is thankful for his commitment to the televised Mass.
