MVP is Going to the Dogs to Support Breast Cancer Awareness

2nd Annual Doggie Fashion Show to support breast cancer awareness is set for Saturday, Oct. 18.

One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. This year alone, more than 220,000 women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer and over 40,000 women will die of the disease. Those are sobering statistics, but you can help make a difference by fighting a very serious disease with a seriously fun event.

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and on Saturday, October 18, we’ll be hosting the 2nd Annual Doggie Fashion Show to support breast cancer awareness! Presented by Beep for the Cure, this fun and furry fundraiser will be raising money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

So what exactly does this Doggie Fashion Show entail? Well Halloween is close at hand, so some of the area’s cutest canines will be strutting their stuff in costume! From pugkin spice lattes to the classic dachshund-in-a-hotdog, there’s no telling what type of canine fashion will be on display at this event. The Doggie Fashion Show is sure to be one of the most fun Halloween events in Tewksbury, and it’s for a good cause, so don’t miss it! If you’re ready for a doggone good time, check out the details below.
