New Tewksbury resident named one of the top 50 Contractors in the U.S. by Walls and Ceilings trade publication

Carmine Bonavita, owner of Renaissance Finishes & Restoration is a new Tewksbury resident. Having recently bought a beautiful home on the north side of the city, he is looking forward to settling in and meeting the other residents of his new home town.  He is also excited to get his small business relocated and ‘out there’ for people to see! Renaissance Finishes & Restoration was just named one of the ”Top 50 contractors in the U.S. by walls & Ceilings trade publication. (August 2015)

Carmine & his crew specialize in all types of Faux finishing, and decorative wall plasters. Fully insured, they offer products such as Italian Venetian Plaster, Marmorino, American Clay natural earth plaster, Tadelakt, and Japanese wall.  These are all are natural earth plasters - and as such they are formaldehyde free and produce NO VOCs. Products such as the Japanese wall, are made up of Diatomaceous earth which serves to clean the indoor air of contaminants and significantly improves indoor air quality! They can also refinish furniture or cabinetry, marbleize your table top...you imagine it he can create it for you!

They also offer Fine interior painting and restoration services second to none.  In addition to outstanding residential work, he has done numerous commercial jobs such as Hermes, Herb Chamber, Aveda, Northhampton Brewery and others.

Looking toward the future, Carmine is hoping to be able to find a small storefront in town for his business, not only to make it easier for clients to meet with him and see in person samples of  all the beautiful of the finishes he offers, but he is also certified as an instructor in all of the product lines he uses. Carmine would love to be able to start teaching classes again and sharing with homeowners and other contractors his love for the Decorative Painting and plastering arts .
