Save the Date! Zero Waste Day scheduled for Saturday, September 26th
Experience "drive thru donating and recycling" at Tewksbury's 7th Annual ZWD, held from 9am-1pm on 9/26 in the Wynn parking lot.

Got stuff? Zero Waste Day makes donating and recycling quick and easy by bringing local service providers to you. For four hours (from 9am-1pm) on Saturday, September 26th, simply load your vehicle with used but usable items and deliver them directly to more than a dozen local non-profit organizations and recycling companies.
Categories of items that can be donated include: clothing, shoes, baby gear, furniture, bikes, building supplies, books and media, animal care products, linens, household goods.
Categories of items that can be recycled include: electronics, off-rim tires, batteries, cell phones, printer cartridges, paper.

There is a nominal fee for electronics recycling, as there is indeed a cost associated with responsibly recycling electronics. There is no fee for donating or recycling of paper, tires, batteries, cell phones or printer cartridges.
What should not be brought to ZWD? Trash, hazardous waste, exercise equipment, toys, anything that is damaged and would not maintain the dignity of the next owner.
