Tewksbury Girls Clean Up "Run for the Hills" 5K

The Greater Lowell Road Runners headed to Harvard on Sunday to compete in the Run for the Hills 5K. The Greater Lowell Youth Girls swept the 14 and Under bracket. The overall women’s winner and winner of the 14 and Under bracket was Lily Robinson, 13 from Tewksbury, with a time of 21:42. Devyn Veits, also 13 from Tewksbury, placed 2nd in the bracket, fourth overall female with a time of 21:54. Cleaning up the 14 and Under bracket, 7th overall female was Makayla Paige, 11 from Tewksbury, with a time of 22:22.

Great performances were ran out by several other Tewksbury youth runners. McKenzie Clark (12) finished right behind Paige for a 4th place finish her bracket, 8th overall female, with a time of 22:48. Riley Clark (10) finished a strong 9th in the bracket with a time of 26:07. Wrapping up finishers for GLRR was Riley Veits (10) with a time of 31:32.

Tewksbury boys had strong performances for the GLRR. Lucas Gondola (13) was the first finisher for the group with a time of 24:29. Following right on his heels was teammate Bobby Clark (13) clocking in at 24:56 and wrapping up the GLRR was Cameron Gondola (11) with a time of 27:49.
