Tewksbury Memorial High School Top 10 Seniors Honored by Rotary Club

The top 10 TMHS graduating seniors were honored by the Tewksbury Rotary Club at a luncheon.

 

Tewksbury Memorial High School seniors ranked in the Top 10 of the class of 2013 were honored Thursday at a luncheon sponsored by the Tewksbury Rotary Club at the Tewksbury Country Club.

James Aronson was named the class Valedictorian, with a total SAT score of 2250, 800 for Critical Reading, 770 for Math, 680 for Writing, and a Score of 5 on every AP Exam.

Aronson, son of James and Doriana Aronson, is a member of the National Honor Society, Math Team, Indoor and Outdoor Varsity Track Teams, Captain of the Varsity Soccer Team and a TYSL Referee, 

Caitlin Morris, daughter of Elizabeth and Kenneth Morris, was named as the class Salutatorian, with a GPA of 4.36 and a total SAT Score of 1890.

As a student athlete, Morris was named the Freshman Basketball Team’s Most Valuable Player, the Junior Varsity Basketball Team’s Most Valuable Player, as well as contributing as a member of the Soccer and Softball Teams.

Rachel Gillis, who was not in attendance at the Rotary Club luncheon, was named the Class Marshall with a a GPA of 4.36 and received a SAT total score of 2180.

Gillis, daughter of Joseph and Marianne Gillis, is a member of the National Honor Society and ECHO Club in addition to volunteering for the Tewksbury Food Pantry. 

Other students honored as being in the Top 10 (but in no particular order), were:

  • Adriana Brown, daughter of Kim and Gary Brown
  • Jamal Choudhary, son of Saeed and Azra Choudhary
  • Vincenzo Barinelli, son of Donna and Lou Barinelli
  • Tess Irving, daughter of Mary Prescott Irving and John Irving
  • Tyler Puleo, son of Mike and Cindy Puleo
  • Devin Kelly, daughter of Jay and Mary Kelly
  • Rebecca Davies, daughter of Karen and William Davies
