• Franklin County Technical School: Policy Subcomittee (wendellmass.us) — Franklin County Technical School is holding a Policy Subcommittee meeting in Turners Falls on Tuesday, Oct. 6 at 4 p.m., giving residents a chance to follow key policy discussions. Members will review statewide policy recommendations, admissions rules, school-sponsored speech, and several existing policies, with remote access controlled through advance verification by email for anyone planning to attend virtually.

Roundup: Pioneer girls soccer takes first loss of the season to Drury (recorder.com) — Local sports fans can celebrate a solid day for area teams, including a golf win where Turners Falls shot 203 to top Athol at Ellinwood Country Club.
