The funding is part of a $4.4 million statewide package from Governor Healey's administration aimed at closing "last mile" gaps and improving affordable transportation options across Massachusetts communities.
• Obituary: Nancy M. Gloor, 83 (thereadingpost.com) — Wakefield readers may know Nancy M. Gloor through her son Eddie, who lives in town, as the family mourns her passing at age 83. Raised in Stoneham and later living in Reading, Freedom, N.H., and North Andover, Nancy was remembered for her love of family, gardening, lakeside summers, cross-country travels with her husband Irving, and deep affection for animals.
